Iraqi Journal for Computers and Informatics is an open access ,double-blind peer reviewed, international academic journal published biannual (one issue/year before 2017).It is institutional journal issued by the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) in Baghdad- Iraq; UoITC is one of governmental universities which established by the Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq. IJCI aims to contribute to the constant scientific research and to provide a sober scientific journal that enriches scholars around the world and it deals with all aspects of computer science.

Dr Safaa O. Al-mamory was born in Babylon, Iraq. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He got Ph.D. degree in Computer Architecture from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2009. In 2003, he joined the Department of Computer Science, University of Babylon, as an Assistant Lecturer, and in 2011 became an Assistant Professor. Since February 2015, he is the dean of Business Informatics College at University of Information Technology and Communications. His research interests cover data mining and network monitoring, with over 40 publications in Thompson Reuters journals, Scopus journal, and several international conferences. He is the founder of E-learning at University of Babylon and did several projects for the same university and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq.
