Baghdad International Airport is located approximately 32 km from the
city center of Baghdad. Upon arrival all the registered participants
will be picked up from the airport by the hosting staff to facilitate
transport to their respective hotels. Alternatively, participants may take a
taxi. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes
depending on traffic conditions. The price is around 30$.
Accommodation is free for all participants in a double room per person
for two nights of the conference days. Breakfast and dinner are also
included during accommodation at the hotel. The accommodation will
be in the Baghdad hotel and Shanasheel palace hotel, in which they are
located approximately 2.5 km from the conference venue, and City
Centre. The participants are requested to inform us in advance if they
want to share their rooms with a spouse/friend or colleague who
registers for the conference as a participant or listener. Otherwise, the
conference organizing committee will assign the rooms to participants
based on their gender.
