Based on the decision of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the directives of the Central Bank of Iraq, the University ofInformationTechnology and Communications (UOITC) held a workshop with a number of government and private banks on the subject of reforming the mechanism of payment of salaries.
The Presidency of the University hosted a group of government and private banks to discuss the offers of these banks in the event they are contracted to provide employees with their salaries monthly through the electronic card (Master Card) and services that may be provided by these banks.
The banks that made their bids publicly are (Rafidain Bank, the National Bank, the Iraqi Bank for Trade, the Middle East Bank for Investment, and the Bank of Ashur International) where the staff responsible for these banks talked about the services provided by each bank to the client or employee who wants to connect with them.
The workshop was attended by the president of the university, Dr. Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri, the assistant of president of the university for sientific affairs and the professors of the Faculty of Business Information and the Faculty of Engineering and a number of university teaching and colleges as well as the staff of the University and the Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics
