Faculty of Engineering holds a training course on the basics of information technology.

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a training course entitled "Cisco IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software" which specialized in the basics of information technology. The course aims at providing students with practical knowledge of how the computer works, identify its internal components and assemble it, install the operating system, and troubleshoot using system tools and diagnostic programs.

The course lasted for five days with the participation of students of the second stage of the Department of Mobile Computing and Communications Engineering. At the end of the course, the Dean of the College of Engineering and the deputy Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs met the participants and stressed the importance of engaging in these courses to make students more aware of the skills required for the labor market.
